Roberto G. Salas

Roberto G. Salas of Schertz, TX passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 89.
He was born in Floresville, TX on June 10, 1933 to Marcos and Theresa Salas.
He was employed from 1954 to 1994 in the U.S. Army and Civil Service positions.
He enjoyed walking, dancing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. 
He is preceded in death by his spouse, Nicolasa H. Salas and his son Rudy Martinez.
He is survived by his children Jose Martinez, Elena M. (Roy) Suarez, Arturo Galindo and spouse Judy Harris, Mark Salas, Robert Salas, and Stevan Salas. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and his beloved pet, Rallo.

There will be a Visitation at Schertz Funeral Home held on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held the following day at Schertz Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM followed by a procession to Floresville City Cemetery.
