Perlita (Perla) Manalo Okonski

Perlita (Perla) Manalo Okonski, 78 years of age, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.
Perlita was born on January 17, 1945, in Balungao Pangasinan, Philippines, to the late Oftociano and Josefina Manalo. She was united in Holy matrimony to John Anthony Okonski on September 12, 1972. This union was blessed with four children.
She is survived by her husband, John Anthony Okonski; three brothers, Simon Manalo, Boy Manalo and Fonsing Manalo; two sisters, Angeling Florendo and Ana Agbulos; her children, Cesar and Mariebeth Manalo, Lawrence and Renee Manalo, Maylanie Foley, and John Anthony Okonski II; Grandchildren, Ellora Quintanilla, Gabrielle Manalo, Cecelia Foley, Sidney Manalo, Sophia Manalo, and Scarlett Manalo and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oftociano and Josefina Manalo; three brothers, Bernie Manalo, Fred Manalo and Ador Manalo and two sisters, Nenita Florendo and Gloria Orallo.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital can be made in Perlita’s name.
The Funeral Service will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 4:00 PM, with a Visitation for the public beginning at 3:00 PM.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the VFW Post 8315 following her funeral services.
