Michael Flood

Michael Edward Flood, age 78, passed away on December 11, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.  He was born to John and Elizabeth Flood on July 23, 1941 in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Michael proudly served our country in the United States Air Force.  During his career, his most notable jobs were as a flight refueler and a personnel superintendent.  He served in the Vietnam War and received many awards and medals for his service.   After more than 30 years of service in the Air Force, he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Barbara J. Flood of San Antonio; nephew, Mark Edward David Flood of Allentown, PA; as well as other family members and many friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Francis John Flood.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30PM on Monday, December 23, 2019 at Schertz Funeral Home, with Visitation beginning one hour before services at 11:30AM.  Graveside Services will follow at 2:15PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with full military honors.
