Thelma Greenwald

November 5, 1943 — March 13, 2023

Ms. Thelma Greenwald who was 79 years old, was called home to start her life with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023.

She was born on November 5, 1943, in Caribou, Maine to David and Mabel Hill. She grew up with twelve brothers and sisters whom she loved very much. After marrying Mr. Greenwald in 1962 they gave birth to their daughter Patricia in 1963 and then got transferred to Alaska where she gave birth to her son Kenneth in 1965. They moved to Schertz in 1972 when Mr. Greenwald was stationed at Randolph Airforce Base where they remained for over fifty years.

Thelma filled many shoes. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. She was also a friend who had a beautiful soul. She liked to work part time, but her favorite job was taking care of her grandsons.

She is survived by her son Kenneth David Greenwald and her two grandsons Kenneth Christopher Greenwald who recently turned 19 and Colin Zachary Rosas who will be 22 in June. She is also survived by her brother Alan Hill and her sister Madeline Hurst, along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her husband Kenneth Walter Greenwald who was called home in August of 2021 and her daughter Patty Rosas who left this world in March of 2020. They are all missed dearly.
