Ronnie Davids

Ronnie Llewellyn Davids was born April 24, 1960, in Helena Arkansas to the late Alma Jean Brooks. He was the oldest of three siblings. On August 24, 2022, God decided that he needed Ronn more and he passed away without warning. Ronn’s death has left all his family, friends and all that had the blessing of knowing him in disbelief.

He attended schools in Chicago IL and Fairbanks Alaska and graduated from Lathrop High School in 1979.

In January1994, he met the love of his life, Monica, at Langley AFB Virginia; she took his breath away from moment one and he never looked back. They were married on November 7, 1995, in Newport News, Virginia. To that union they had one son, “Prince” DeRonn Alexander. They spent several years traveling across Europe and the United States before deciding to settle in Texas.

Anyone who knew Ronn was touched by his kindness, humor, and mild temperament despite his size. He absolutely loved his family and had a passion for the youth, family, friends, plants, and gardening.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Alma and his sister Lillie Lindsey. Ronn leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 26 years, Monica, and their son DeRonn. His sister Octavia (Donnell) Lindsey, nieces DeShanna, Tynisha and Artecia, and nephew Matthias, great nephews Davarious and DeAndre and great nieces Adora and Harmony. He also leaves to continue and cherish his memory, his best friend\bother LaMar (Melody) Smith and a host, cousins, family and friends

A Memorial Service for Ronn will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM.
