Pat Whittenberg

Patricia Ann Whittenberg, 67, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on April 7, 2023, at Tru Care Living Center in Selma, Texas, after battling neurological issues.

Pat was born in Barnstable, MA on November 26, 1955, to Charles and Adele Whittenberg (Stuckey). She was born into an Air Force family and lived all over the United States and the United Kingdom.

Pat lived an adventurous life. She was an amateur stock car racer, drove an 18-wheel truck, played hockey, went sky diving, and learned to fly small aircraft. She was proud to call herself an adrenaline junkie.

Pat held many positions while raising her son Jared with her lifelong friend Joel Frey, eventually she became a flight attendant in 2002 and lived her dream of adventure and travelling all over the world. Pat always made it a point to schedule trips to wherever Jared, his wife Jessica and her two grandsons, Andrew and Ethan, were stationed to visit. Pat was a self-proclaimed Cat Lady who loved her kitties. She loved to travel and spend time with her close friends Walter and Martin.

Pat is survived by her son Jared, daughter in law, Jessica (Mendoza) and two grandsons Andrew and Ethan, Marion, TX, lifelong friend Joel Frey, Phoenix, AZ, her sister Sandra Whittenberg, Scottsdale, AZ, her honorary grandson Christian Teets, Cibolo, TX and many close friends she has met throughout her travels.

She was preceded in death by her father Charles in 1991 and her mother Adele in 2012.

A Memorial Visitation for Pat will take place at Schertz Funeral Home on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
