Jesse Carrasco

Jesse L. Carrasco, 81, of Universal City passed away surrounded by family on October 29th, 2022. Jesse was born in May 1941 to the late Jose and Aurora Carrasco.  He met the love of his life, Josephine, in grade school.  They were married for 60 years and had four children.

Jesse worked for over 30 years in the Water Works Department of Universal City, he was a dedicated and hardworking city employee and retired in 2003.  He also served as a volunteer fireman for Universal City in the seventies. Jesse was an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Schertz. He enjoyed fishing and camping and loved spending time with his family. He was able to travel throughout the United States and overseas.  He was kind and acquired many friends with his smile and ability to strike up a conversation with anyone who crossed his path.

Jesse is survived by his wife, Josephine, children, Grace, Claudia, Eva and Tony and their spouses, Jim, Melissa, Lee and Tanya.  His beloved grandchildren, Connor, Sean, Elliott and Emily.  He leaves behind four brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation/Rosary will be Thursday, Nov. 10th,'22 from 5pm-8pm at Schertz Funeral Home with the Rosary to be recited at 7pm. The Funeral Mass will be Friday Nov. 11th, '22, at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
