Dorothy Boyle

March 20, 1940 — March 3, 2022

Dorothy Boyle (Graham) of Schertz, TX passed away of natural causes on 03/03/2022. She is survived by her husband of 64 years Charles Boyle, their daughters Cynthia Boyle, Elizabeth Ragan, and Valerie Watson and their spouses, 6 grand-children, and 6 great grand-children, as well as her sister Rosalee Springer and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Dorothy was preceded into the afterlife by her mother, Inez Mae Graham, and her brothers, James Graham, and Raymond Graham.

Dorothy was born in the true Americana town of Bicknell, Indiana on April 20, 1940. It was there that she met her future husband at a skating rink, who gave her a ride home that day, which led to an eventual courtship, and marriage which took them all over the world with his USAF career and their own personal travels.

Dorothy had impeccable taste and flair for all she did in life. She loved to entertain family and friends and would go over and above all expectations to make everyone feel welcome and at home. She enjoyed Volks Marching and loved to walk and explore historic areas, gardens and parks. She especially loved to line dance with her friends in weekly dance classes where she learned every imaginable line dance routine.

While she may have been small in stature, she was a larger-than-life person. Her personal fortitude, inner-strength and seemingly boundless energy often left others in awe. Her life was one that any strong, honest, and forthright woman and mother could aspire to emulate.

Dorothy was as unique and wonderful as she was fiercely loving and steadfastly dependable. We take comfort in that her’s was a life well lived. Her grace and memory will be cherished by all of us.
