Captain Dale Erwin Cook of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, born April 12, 1936 to Erwin A. Cook  and Lillian Ridenbaugh Cook. Preceded in death by his parents, his son Darren Cook, his granddaughter Arianna Cook, and his daughter in law Sonja Cook.
He passed away at home under hospice care on May 31, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Carol Cook, his sons Dean Cook, Donald Cook, Darryl Cook (Karen), his sister Linda Atherton and her daughters, and his grandchildren Zandra Cook, Brianna Cook, and Grayson Cook.
Dale served in the Air Force for 15 and a half years, had his metal art studio for 9 years, then worked in as a postal servant for 16 and a half years before retiring. He loved to travel in his motor home, taking along his pontoon boat and scooter or motorcycle. His favorite pastime was fishing, which he won some awards for. He was so proud of his 4 sons and grandchildren. He loved country music and loved to dance. He was a Christian and believed in Jesus Christ.

A Graveside Service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
