Charles Neleigh
May 17, 1929 — April 22, 2023
Charles Donald Neleigh at age 93 departed this world for heaven on April 22, 2023. Charles was born to James and Cora Neleigh in Pennsylvania, and later married Mary through his service as a Senior Master Sergeant in the US Air Force.
Charles, is survived by son Eric Neleigh, granddaughter Courtney Carte, who carries his soon to be born great granddaughter, and two daughter-in-laws. Charles was preceded in death by his parents James and Cora; his sister June, brother Harry; his beloved wife Mary; and his son Donald.
He will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and especially his beloved “club” of retired military pals.
The Funeral Service will take place at 1:00PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Visitation will begin at 12noon.The Graveside Service, featuring United States Air Force Honors, will take place at 10:30AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery - Shelter 3.
