Carolyn E. Stevens, 58, Schertz, TX went to be with the Lord 9 March 2023. Born Carolyn E. Kiser, 24 March, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio to Harold E Kiser and Eloise Kiser. She grew up in Beaufort, SC and Hurricane WV taking care of her diabetic mother and eventually her father due to a cancer diagnosis, until their deaths. At 23, she attended Ashland Community College in Kentucky where she met her current husband Joseph. Joseph enlisted in the Air Force and they moved to Phoenix, AZ, eventually moving to Biloxi, MS where they had their one child, Joshua Daniel Stevens born 30 April 1995. In 2004, she battled with breast cancer and was declared free of the disease. In 2018, she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and fought the disease with the aid of her husband and son until her passing. She is survived by her husband Joseph Stevens, her son Joshua Stevens, her brother George Kiser, a niece and nephew and her great niece Paige Froble.
Services will be held at Cornerstone Church on Mar 16, 2023 beginning at 2pm, she will be buried at Forrest Memorial Park in Milton, WV.
