Brady Bolden

April 20, 1951 — November 16, 2022

Husband, father, Brady Bolden entered fully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. He was 71. He was born April 20, 1951 in Pontiac, MI to Burnette Graham. Brady graduated from Ferndale High School in Ferndale, MI. Brady enlisted in the Air Force where he served in various bases in the United States and Asia and retired as a Master Sergeant after 21 years of honorable service. He was a quiet man. He was never in a hurry, but always got the job done. Brady enjoyed the simple things in life.

Brady started a second career by driving the school bus. He drove for Northeast ISD. Brady is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Clarice Bolden. Together they worked for the Lord in various ministries. Brady confessed Christ at an early age. His Christian faith was an essential part of his life, as a member of Resurrection Baptist Church Brady grew in grace and in knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was there that Brady was a Sunday School teacher, sung in the choir, served as an altar server. He taught youth Evangelism classes. Later on Brady and Mary became member of the Randolph Air Force Base Gospel Service. He served at the Gospel Service in the choir, men’s chorus, and formed a youth choir. Over the years, Brady became known not only for his moving testimonies but for his heartfelt singing. With the help of the Lord Brady and Mary started an outreach ministry, Christoferos Ministries. Christoferos was known to many on Randolph Air Force Base and around San Antonio. This ministry provided food, clothes, fellowship and encouragement to those less fortunate. Brady would engage in conversation about the Bible, it was always about the Bible. He attended Master’s Divinity School and graduated August 14, 2003 with a certificate in Gerontology (Study of Old Age – seniors) with a Chaplaincy Certification.

When closes a door He always is guiding through another. Christoferos was closed by God because He had something else He wanted the Bolden’s to do. So, God open a bigger door and while Brady was battling with cancer God called the Bolden’s to start a church under the fellowship of International Fellowship Ministries (IMF). In 2008 Hope Temple Nondenominational Church was birth. By the grace and goodness of God, Brady Bolden was chosen and ordained as a Deacon on September 1, 2013 by Hope Temple Nondenominational Church and blessed by IMF. Deacon Bolden considered this the most humbling experience of his life. He constantly commented that his grandfather was a Deacon, who was his mentor. Deacon Bolden love the Lord, he love the Word, and he love God’s people. Deacon Bolden always had encouraging comments and was often humorous.

Brady was preceded in death by his father Willie Pelzer, sister: Helen Boyd, and his brothers: Anthony Harris, Ervin Pelzer, and Tommy. Also his grandparents preceded him in death: Deacon Clarence Bolden, Sr. and Fannie L. Bolden. Brady will be dearly missed by his family, and friends. He leaves to cherish his memories, Mary Clarice Bolden (wife), daughter: Bettina Bolden, Arizona; mother: Burnette Graham, (Michigan); 4 sisters Cheryl Harris, Sheila Harris, Colette Coles, Carol (Al in Michigan); 3 brothers: James (Michelle) Harris, Dellaino Harris, and David Pelzer (All in Michigan); Devoted Uncle: James Bolden, (Michigan).
