William Wicht

William Louis Wicht (35) passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 27th at the Northeast Methodist Hospital emergency room. Born in Tachikawa, Japan on January 20, 1972, son of Richard Wicht and Miyoko Hagiwara Wicht of Garden Ridge, Texas. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trisha Lynne. Will is survived by his wife, Aimee Trautner Sligh Wicht, daughter, Kristen Ashley, son Ayden William, step-daughter, Amber Nicole Sligh and step-son, Tyler Martin Sligh. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, a loving extended family and many friends. A 1990 graduate of Samuel Clemens High School, Will went on to earn his Bachelors Degree at The University of The Incarnate Word in Accounting and was employed by Kraft Foods. He was a volunteer coach for his sons U10 Soccer Team, the Roadrunners. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and gamer. Will was a wonderful loving and caring husband, father and son, he was very loved and will always remain in our hearts. Visitation will be held at the Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, TX on Tuesday, 1 January from 1 to 3 p.m. The service will begin at 3 p.m. Friends and family are invited to the wake following the service at the Wicht home.
