William Frampton

William R. (Bill/Barney/Framp) Frampton passed away 2-21-2022 at his home with his wife, Rosemary, daughter, Judy and sister-in-law Patty by his side.

He was born in Apollo, PA on Sept 8th, 1945. He joined the Air Force in 1963. He met Rosemary in 1966 and they were married in 1967. The Air Force took them to Scott AFB, IL where Judy was born. Then to Randolph AFB, TX from 1970 to 1975, then onto Holland from 1975 to 1979. In 1979, they moved to Panama City, FL until 1982 and then back to RAFB, TX where he retired in 1985. He then served in Civil Service at Randolph highlighted by his position in the Air Force Casualty Office working with POW/MIA families until his retirement in Dec 2011.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Rosemary, daughter Judy, son-in-law Peter, grandsons Christopher and Jonathan, sister Karen, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, acknowledgements to all the many friends over the years he considered as family too.

A Funeral Service for Mr. Frampton will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with a Visitation being held from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
