William Anthony Collins, best known as Tony, better known as “Honeybunch” and “Da Big Toad”, born August 17, 1950, to Clarence and Betty Jane Collins, brother to Connie and Deborah, passed away on September 14, 2021. Tony was Honeybunch to Geri Collins, father to Amy (Scott) Quesinberry, Suzanne (Edward) Sanchez, TJ (Allison) Collins, and Tyler Collins, Papa to Haley (Robby) Horton, Paige (Matt) Fouty, Savannah (Chris) Swanson, Caleb, Caitlyn, and Jacob Sanchez, Lydia, and Ruby Collins, and had 2 great- grandchildren, Adalynne Fouty and Sawyer Horton. Tony was a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he retired in 1994 after 24 years of service. Tony sought to show the love of Jesus Christ to anyone around him. Whether as an educator, counselor, pastor, or coach, he made sure to touch people’s lives. Those who knew Tony loved him deeply. He loved his family and his friends greatly. You might have heard him say, “What’s kickin’, chicken?” “Get down, Get funky. Get back up again.” He was never without his sense of humor.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Tony's life will be held at Crosspoint Fellowship Church on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, Tony’s family is requesting donations to help cover the various medical expenses that accrued.
