June 29, 1941 — November 2, 2008

Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Wesley James Lilie of St. Hedwig passed away on November 2, 2008 at the age of 67. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin & Matilda (Wieting) Lilie; sisters, Dorothy Bauer and Shirley Parr and brother, Edwin Lilie, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol Lilie of St. Hedwig; son, Darren James Lilie of Austin; grandchildren, Ciara, Kyle and Cody Lilie of San Antonio; brother, Leroy Lilie & wife, Mildred of Houston; nieces and nephews, Edwin Lilie III, Jimmy Clark, Debbie Sullivan, Connie Cook, Michael Lilie, Terry Parr, Sherry McCoy and Darryl Parr. Wesley retired from Yellow Freight System after working there for over 30 years. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Redeemer United Church of Christ in Zuehl, TX with Reverend Gerald Metzger officiating. Interment will follow at Redeemer UCC Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to: Redeemer UCC.
