Virginia May Roop, born on February 21, 1935, passed away on January 2, 2018 at the age of 82. Virginia enjoyed working on crafts and relaxing with a good book. Her and her husband also loved traveling together. Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Carrie McNeely; sister, Bonnie. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, John Roop; sons, John Roop, Ronald Roop and Jeffrey Roop; brother, Robert; sister, Carolyn. A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Lindow officiating.
