Venerado De Los Santos, born on November 14, 1941 in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, passed away on June 28, 2014 in Cibolo, Texas, at the age of 72. Venerado worked for Anheuser Busch in Newark, New Jersey for 33 years. He was an active member of Knights of Columbus and a longtime member of St. Margaret's Church and the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Choir. Venerado loved to travel and had a passion for helping others. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Alcira De Los Santos of Cibolo, Texas; children, Christopher De Los Santos and his wife, Lisa, Jose De Los Santos, Eric Quiroz, and Walter Quiroz; grandchildren, Derrick, Diana, Jose Jr., Noah, and Becca; brothers, Mario De Los Santos, Felix De Los Santos, and Jose De Los Santos; sisters, Esperanza Tejeda, Leonica Rondon, Luciana Nina and Milagro De Los Santos. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, from 5:00PM-9:00PM, with a rosary to begin at 7:00PM at Schertz Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 10:00AM, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Father Ed Pavlicek, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #2.
