Tyrone Francis Friesenhahn, age 53, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2007 at his home in New Braunfels. He was born to Virgil Edgar & Bonnie Mae (Rosenbaum) Friesenhahn in Seguin, TX on October 27, 1953. Tyrone was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He owned Friesenhahn Roofing & Sheet Metal for 30 years where he proved that he was a master craftsman. Tyrone was a hard worker, honest man and well respected by all who knew him. Survivors include: wife, Linda of New Braunfels; mother, Bonnie Boenig & husband, Chester of Universal City; mother-in-law, Shirley Mae Weatherford of San Antonio; brothers & sisters, Deborah Cheatham & husband, Bill of Paradise Valley, AZ, Virgil Friesenhahn & wife, Penny of Converse, Keith Friesenhahn & wife, Gayle of LaVernia, Chris Friesenhahn & wife, Tressa of San Antonio, Gail Corbell & husband, Rick of Universal City, Bridgit Shellhouse of Schertz, Kim Morey & husband, Will of Phoenix, AZ and Patricia Taylor & husband, Brian of San Antonio; many nieces & nephews and other family members. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 18, 2007 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Schertz Funeral Home. A Rosary will follow at St. Monicas Catholic Church at 7:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 19, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, with Father Philip Kim & Father Ricardo Hernandez as Celebrants. Graveside services and interment will follow at Selma Cemetery #2. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. The Friesenhahn family would like to give special thanks to Charley, Judy & Camille of Odyssey Hospice for the loving care that Tyrone received.
