TSgt. David A. Rivera, U.S. Air Force, Retired was born to Teodosio & Modesta (Garay) Rivera on December 13, 1928 in San Jose, Costa Rica. David was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esperanza, and son, David, Jr. He passed away on October 10, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 79. David is survived by his daughter, Vielka Wambold & husband, Gary of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Miguel Rivera of San Antonio and daughter-in-law, Dora Rivera; grandchildren, Michelle and David Rivera, all of San Antonio and Tristan Wambold of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by other members of his family in the Republic of Panama. Graveside Services & Interment, with full military honors, will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
