Timothy Joseph Britt, aged 62, from Schertz, TX, passed away Monday, April 29th, 2024. He was born December 19, 1961, in Lima, Ohio to his loving parents James and Betty Britt. Timothy was the 4th of 8 siblings.
Timothy began his career serving in the Air Force as a military policeman for 4 years then went on to the Live Oak Police Department. After his years with Live Oak, he moved on to join the San Antonio Police Department as a patrolman, then shortly after was promoted to Detective in the Homicide division.
Aside from his law enforcement roles, he was an entrepreneur in both real estate and the restaurant business, then achieved several top sales awards in the air conditioning industry as his final career.
One of Timothy's greatest joys was coaching his son Daniel’s little league baseball team for multiple seasons. His passion for baseball extended to supporting his favorite teams-the Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers.
Timothy never met a stranger. With his quick wit and humorous spirit, he made a lasting impression and lots of friends along the way.
Timothy leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years Karla Britt, children James, Robert (and Bailey), and Daniel Britt, as well as grandchildren Carter, Riley, and Tyler Britt. He is reunited in heaven with his father James and survived by his mother Betty. Timothy will be dearly missed by his siblings Mike (and Lori) Britt, Pat (and Brenda) Britt, Joan (and Mark) Jordan, Kathleen (and Steve) Conkel, Mary (and Steve) Sciranka, Greg (and Anastasia) Britt, Laura (and Darrell) Miller, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Timothy will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, 2024 starting at 2:00 PM.
