Stella Buckhanan

Stella Charlene Hoeser Buckhanan of Universal City, Texas went home to be with her Lord on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 86 years of age.  She was born in Trinity Texas on May 7, 1936, the 12th child of Will and Verne Hoeser. She is survived by one son, Troy Buckhanan of Universal City, and one daughter Vicki Haley of Athens, Texas, three grandchildren Eli (Audrey) Haley, Lauren (Brannon) Carnes and Chelsea Haley all of Athens Texas, seven great grandchildren, one sister Laura Jelks of New Braunfels, Texas and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son David Buckhanan, 5 sisters and 5 brothers.  A private graveside service officiated by Trevor Pierce, will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of Schertz Funeral Home.
