Sharon Fisk Findell peacefully went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Thursday, July 23, 2026, with her family by her side. After a courageous 14 month battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis she is now breathing freely.

Sharon was a beautiful soul, extremely intelligent and could match wits with anyone. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and her many companion pets, her generosity, and her love of all living creatures (in particular skunks, raccoons and opossums). She enjoyed coastal trips to visit family in Galveston, TX, weekend family gatherings by her pool, bird watching, reading, and cooking (a passion she passed onto each of her children).

Sharon was born on May 1, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, to Joseph M. Fisk and Catherine Mellor Fisk. Sharon graduated from West Catholic Preparatory High School in Philadelphia and immediately entered the workforce as a Bank Teller in New Jersey. In the early 1970s, Sharon and her family relocated to San Antonio, TX, where she worked in hospital administration, then a legal secretary and lastly as the Regulatory Compliance Officer for Jungle Laboratories Corp./United Pet Group from where she retired in 2007 after a long and successful 22 year career.

Sharon and husband Christopher were married in 1995 celebrating 31 years of marriage in September 2025. Chris always affectionately called her Dolly.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Catherine Fisk, and her uncle George Fisk. She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Findell, her three children Michael Veith (wife Cathy), Catherine “Cathy” Gonzalez, and Daniel Veith; grandson Aidan Veith, her brother Joseph Fisk (wife Norma), and step-daughter Jessica Findell Aldrich (husband Brady).

Sharon will be extremely missed by family, friends and all whom had the pleasure of being around her over the years.

The family would like to offer special thanks to friends Jan, Francis and Sue for the spiritual and physical care they provided Sharon during her times of need.

The family would also like to offer special thanks to the home hospice team from Crest Hospice and Palliative Care, especially Aubrie, Kim, and Becky, angels who provided loving care to Sharon to the end.
