SGM Marion Bill Beck, U.S. Army, Retired, age 78 of Schertz, Texas passed away on July 9, 2010. Bill was born May 12, 1932 to Lonnie Marion & Constance (Etheridge) Beck in Milledgeville, Georgia. Bill enjoyed traveling with his wife and as a graduate University of Georgia he had a passion for Georgia football. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Buster A. Beck. Bill is survived by his loving wife Lillian Betty Beck; son, Kent R. Beck & wife, Elisa; daughter, Carmen Linnebur & husband, Richard; grandchildren, Damon A. Beck and Travis T. Beck; along with many nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
