Samuel Corona, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and proud United States Navy Veteran, passed away on November 14, 2025 at the age of 77. Surrounded by the love of his family, he completed his journey on this earth with the same strength, courage, and dignity that defined his life.

Samuel was born on October 10, 1948 in Hondo, Tx. He was known for his integrity, determination, and deep love for his family. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy, carrying with him a lifelong pride for the uniform he wore and the nation he protected.

Daddy was a fighter in every sense of the word. He faced life’s challenges with unshakable faith and a resilient spirit — including his battle with cancer. He fought the good fight, ringing the bell of victory with courage that inspired everyone who knew him.

He was the heart of our family, a steady and loving presence whose wisdom and kindness touched each generation. He is survived by his devoted wife, Edna Corona, his children, Jennifer ( Marco) Torres, Angel (Bernardo) Sanchez, Samuel (Rosemary) Corona, eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, all of whom will continue to carry his legacy forward. He taught us how to stand strong, love deeply, and live with purpose.

He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his gentle humor, his hard work, and the countless moments of love he shared throughout his life. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace and that his spirit will forever remain with us.

A celebration of his life will be held on December 11, 2025 at Schertz funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in recognition of his dedicated service to our country.

His memory will remain a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
