Samuel Brightman

MSgt. Samuel A. Brightman, United States Air Force, (Ret), born on January 3, 1951, passed away on March 23, 2012, at the age of 61. He was a 1969 graduate of Omaha Central High School and attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1969-1972. Samuel served his country in the United States Air Force for 22 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. At the time of his passing he was employed at Randolph AFB as a Lodging Manager. For over 40 years, Samuel enjoyed his affiliation with the Masonic District Eight, Western Europe Jurisdiction of Oklahoma. Survivors include his sisters, Laura Brightman & Edwina Rollerson; brothers, Edward Brightman, John Brightman (spouse-Bennie), and James Brightman. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM, at Schertz Funeral Home in Schertz, Texas. The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 10:00AM, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, with United States Air Force Honors.
