Russell Miller

Russell Wayne Miller, age 67, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 in his home surrounded by his family after a long illness.

Russ was born in 1955 in Shreveport, La. He joined the Marines in 1975 and married in 1977. Russ retired from the Marines as a Gunnery Sergeant after 20 years. He loved navigating in a C130. He loved being outdoors, beaches, reading, traveling, NASCAR, and his family. He was described as an interesting person full of stories. He will be very missed but live through great memories.

Russ is preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ella Miller, and only sibling, Michael Miller. He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Miller;daughter Amanda Moberly and husband Mat and children, Avery, Marcy, Caiman and Jameson;son Justin Miller and his wife Kat; aunt Sue Piersall and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Russ will have a military honor funeral at Arlington National Cemetery in the future.
