Ruby Haumesser Brunelle, 89, resident of Cibolo, TX, formerly of Mansfield, OH and Haines City, FL, passed away on April 24, 2026 after a battle with congestive heart failure and myasthenia gravis. Ruby was born January 5, 1937 to the late Clifford and Elizabeth (Roth) Schultz. She grew up in Grafton, OH and graduated from Grafton High School. Following graduation Ruby attended Elyria Business College for accounting.

She married and moved to Mansfield in 1956. Ruby worked at the Leland Hotel, Morgan’s Dry Cleaners, and retired after many years at Famous Supply of Mansfield. She was a three-time Past President of VFW 9943 Ladies Auxiliary. Ruby enjoyed taking cruises, Sudoku, paint by number, ceramics, puzzles, reading, playing cards and visiting family. For the past 9 years, she spent several days a week with her young great grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Ruby is survived by her daughters Brenda and Diana Haumesser of Mansfield, Lesa Dumas (Lewis) Starkey of Bolivar, OH and Donna (Toby) Molina of Cibolo, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren Michael (Shellie) Teeters, Jennifer Crookshanks, Brittany Pizarro, Megan (Ryan) Detry, Mickailis Molina; great grandchildren Brian Teeters, Joseph and Juliana Pizarro; siblings Myra Byczynski, Paul Schultz, Marilyn Skidmore, Philip Schultz.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Lawrence Haumesser and second husband David Brunelle, as well as her sister, Wilomene Yonkof.
