Rodolfo Rivera

Rodolfo Rivera, also known to everyone as "Rudy", 85, of Schertz, TX passed away at Methodist North East Hospital in San Antonio, TX peacefully on Nov 3, 2020. Rudy was born in El Paso Texas as a sole child to Jesus Rivera and Maria Cruz Rivera. He is survived by his wife Angelita Rivera and children Richard, Susie, Rodolfo, Jr. Johnny Rivera, and Sherry L Braun also numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He enjoyed coaching baseball and softball, mentoring children to be the best they could be. He Completed some College and Retired in 1976 from the United States Air Force, serving faithfully for 23 ½ years of active duty as a medic. He met his wife Angie and married her in Denver Colorado in 1954.   Visitation will begin at 8:00am, on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, with the Funeral service beginning at 9:00am, at the Schertz Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 10;15am where he will be reviving Full United States Air Force Honors.
