Robert O'Neil Reynolds

On Thursday, February 8, 2024 Robert O’Neil (“Rob” or “Bob”) Reynolds, 71, Schertz, TX returned home with the Lord. He was born November 24, 1952 in Porterville, CA to Robert (Bob) Reynolds and Helen Reynolds. Shortly after they returned to Arkansas where he would go to school, play High School football, and go to Loyola University. After graduating college, he joined the military (1972 – 1974, 1976 – 1980, and 1981 – 1995). He started his military career Enlisted and then commissioned as an Officer. He was medically retired in 1995 in Maryland and relocated to Texas in 2004 where he spent the reminder of his years.

He leaves behind his wife, Chom Sun Reynolds, of almost 47 years of marriage and his daughter, Min Suk Reynolds and future son-in-law, Donyea Wilson. His met his beautiful wife during a blind Christmas party date and he always stated that he knew she was the person he would be with forever. He bought her an amethyst necklace as purple was his favorite color and she still has the necklace. He leaves behind 2 brothers (Roman and Conrad), one sister (Evelynn), two sister-in-law’s (Gean and Rufiya), along with nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He did lose his brother (Donald) a few years ago.

Celebration of Life will be Thursday, March 7^th, 2024 from 5 pm to 8 pm. The funeral will take place, Friday, March 8^th, 2024 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The Graveside Service will be at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery starting at 1:45 pm. Around 3:00 pm at Cibolo Valley Baptist Church there will be a gathering for food and remembrance. We ask that in lieu of flowers or food that donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
