Robert Mayle

May 27, 1934 — May 14, 2007

Robert Bob Mayle went to be with the Lord on May 14, 2007 at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Marie Mayle; son, Robert A. Mayle & wife, Joanna; daughters, Donna Mayle & Tina Mayle; grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsay & Matthew Mayle and Sara Gutierrez; one brother and two sisters. Bob was a long time resident of Kirby along with his business, Mayles Used Cars, Inc., which he shared with his son. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and worked U.S. Civil Service as a Computer Programmer. He fought a long hard battle against stomach cancer and is at peace now. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Memorial donations may be made to: The Cancer Therapy and Research Center, 7979 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78229. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Memorial Service being held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel, 2217 FM 3009, Schertz, Texas 78154 with Reverend Buckner Fanning officiating. A procession will depart Schertz Funeral Home at 10:15 AM on Friday, May 18, 2007 for Graveside Services & Interment, with full military honors, at 11:15 AM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Deacon Robert Galan officiating.
