Robert Charles Baird

Robert Charles Baird went to his heavenly home on January 14, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was only 57 years old but lived an amazing life even though his time on Earth was short.  He is survived by his parents, Mary and Ricky Baird, his sisters, Amy Langford and Debbie Cortes, his brothers-in-law, Michael Langford and Oscar Cortes, his daughters, Karen and Katie Baird, and his grandson, Vincent Lopez.  He was loved by his family as well as his many friends.  

Those who were fortunate enough to know him will never forget the impact he made on their lives. He will always be remembered for his endless energy ("Mr. Flash"), his infectious laughter, his big bear hugs, his crazy dance moves, his long talks, his loud music and his many “I love yous”.   

The Funeral Rosary for Robert will start at 10:30AM and then, the Mass will follow at 11:00AM on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Selma, Texas. Immediately following the service, the family will receive friends and guests for a reception, at the OLPH Pastoral Care Center, ending at 1:45PM. A private interment will take place.
