Rita J. Kirstein, age 101, passed away 2 March 2025.
Rita had a blessed life with her husband Floyd and family.
Rita J. Kirstein is survived by her children: Mark A. Kirstein, Jerome H. Kirstein, Jean M. Smith, Thomas J. Kirstein, Rosemary P. Causey, Joseph P. Kirstein and Kenneth J. Kirstein; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents John L. Mannhard and Mary M. Mannhard; her husband Floyd H. Kirstein; siblings Sr. Johnilda Mannhard, Paul Mannhard, Iriene Zurline, Louis Mannhard and Maurice Mannhard.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00PM - 8:00PM, with recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00PM, on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will take place at 11:30AM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marion, Texas. Interment to immediately follow at St.John Lutheran Cemetery of Marion, Texas.
