Rita Alice Bullock

On August 8th 2025 Rita Bullock went on to be with the Lord. Rita was born February 22, 1935 in St. Clement Michigan. She passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 90. Rita has been a resident of Schertz for 60 years. She has held many roles in the community from BVYA softball to running the front desk at Dr. Farrimonds office for many, many years. Rita was also a talented quilter and seamstress who has made many extravagant costumes, clothes and formal gowns for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anyone who knew Rita knew the garage door was always open and plenty of food to fill your belly. She loved to garden and always had a beautiful backyard filled with flowers surrounding the pool that was usually filled with friends and family. She not only raised five children, but three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was dearly loved and will be missed tremendously.

Rita is preceded in death by her children Mike, Mark, Chuck and Lori. She is survived by one son, David; many grandchildren including Warren Rauch II, Tiffany Rauch-Smock, Alecia Rauch-Patterson, Don Bullock and Amanda Hood (Bullock); dozens of great-grandchildren including Verona Wiseman, Jane, and Warren Rauch III; Makayla and Makenna Smock; Gabryel Rauch, Mason and Jason Patterson; Brandon and Kaitlin Bullock; Sean Williams and Callista Hood.

In accordance with her final wishes, Rita will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
