Richard Slightom

March 23, 1938 — June 24, 2013

Richard A. Slightom was born March 23, 1938 and entered into rest June 24, 2013 at the age of 75. Richard was a devoted husband, caring father and a loving grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Eva Slightom. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rose Marie Slightom; children, Elizabeth Coddington and husband Ray, Karen Ruiz and husband Joe, Camille Peterson and husband Michael and Elena Ticer and husband Parrish; grandchildren, Clare and Annie Weitz, Ryan Coddington, Nicholas Ruiz, Vanessa Meyer and husband Herman, Mitchell Peterson, Brody and Garrett Ticer; great grandsons, Grayson, Dillon and Chase Meyer. A Rosary will be recited Friday, June 28, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church at 10:30AM, with a Funeral Mass to begin at 11:00AM. The family will gather at Msgr. Martin Family Center immediately following Mass. Interment to take place at 2:00PM at Holy Cross Cemetery.
