Richard Dongog

Richard Dongog (Rick) was born September 23, 1956, Honolulu, Hawaii.

He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, friend and partner.  He proudly served in the United States Airforce and then continued to make his career as a contractor.

Rick was a tower of a man at 6ft 8in tall, but this gentle giant was nothing but a blessing for those who crossed his path.  There was never a hesitation of his willingness to lend a helping hand or say a kind word. He was the man who would give the shirt off his back to help those in need.  For those he loved, it was unconditional. He loved hunting and fishing with his children Rebecca and Garrett, spending hours on the phone with his son Michael and hearing about his daughter Keirstens goals and dreams. We are grateful for all he did for our family and especially for Opa and Oma.  He was accepted into the Frisenhahn family with arms wide open.

Rick lived life to the fullest and left many wonderful gifts, as well as his children.  He loved to travel, cook, fish, play trivia and have a good old fashion conversation with a drink in hand.  He loved to share his knowledge and give his perspective on life, he had a calming effect on those around him and genuinely cared about people.

Richard Dongog, the man we know as Rick was taken out of ours lives on January 6, 2021.  From that day on he will be missed but forever in our memories, Rick it was a blessing to have you in our lives.
