Regina Sue Dunn, born on May 23, 1943 in Taylorville, IL passed away on July 22, 2021 at her home in Cibolo, TX at the age of 78. She is preceded in death by her parents Rudolph and Mary Hanauer, and brother Fred Hanauer.
Regina is survived by her husband, Ottie L Dunn; daughter, Marcy St John; grandchildren, Nick St.John and Ricky Landis; great grandson, Easton St John; siblings, Marcia Brown, Fred Hanauer, Lala Sparks, Jolene Mann and Bruce Sitki.
Gina loved to travel and had many good times on cruises out of Galveston with her sisters and girlfriends. She also loved to bowl and on occasion play a round or two of golf with her beloved. Spending time with her daughter and grandsons were also very high on her list, along with her dog Jasper. But her passion came from her crafting which she began early in life with beading and jewelry making. This went further into crocheting, cross stitch, and her most loved hobby – quilting. She made numerous quilts for her family, friends, and even their pets. Her joy was truly found behind the pedal of the sewing machine.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the Schertz Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, 9:30am at the Schertz Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
