Rebecca A Neer

1949-2026

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rebecca A Neer (Becky) who peacefully left this world on August 14, 2026 at the age of 77 to join the love of her life, Bob Neer.

Becky is survived by her sister, Darlene Staggs and her four children: Philip Neer, Terri Justice (Henry), Patricia Shurden (Eric), Sandra Johnson (Steven)

Becky was a proud MaMaw to her 13 grandchildren: Ali, Maggie, Jessica, Jackie, Janie, Christian, Elizabeth, Tony, Tiffany, Heather, Katie, Meagan, Mark and her 23 great grandchildren.

Becky’s love, friendship and wisdom will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Though she is no longer with them she will live on in their hearts forever.

A Memorial Service for Becky will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM, where guests can begin gathering before at 10:00 AM. A Graveside Service will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
