Pedro Medina Guel

Pedro "Peter" Medina Guel, of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on February 18, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones at the age of 70. He was born and raised in Cibolo, Texas on October 1, 1953, one of 13 children born to Jose Guel and Maria Guel. 

Peter attended Samuel Clemens High School, and then went on to work for CCMA where he retired after 37 years. Peter was a dedicated family man, who was always there when you needed him. His passion was softball, fishing, and the Dallas Cowboys. He was known by all as a kind, soft spoken, and hard workingman who cherished his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with this grandchildren Adam and Isabelle. 

He is survived by his wife (Marlene Guel) of 35 years, sons Peter (Peggy) Guel, and Nicholas (Alissa) Guel, daughters Tiffany Guel, Mercedes(AJ) Guel, and grandchildren Adam Guel and Isabell Guel, Sydnee Houlette, Rachel Paler, Sarah Guel, Briana Guel, Lindsey Guel, Kyle Guel. Siblings Ramonita (Matilde) Troncoso, Elida (Tom) Gately, David (Nettie) Guel, Anna (Jesse) Flores, Corina Guel, and many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Guel, Father-in-law Ed Feehan, and siblings Guadalupe Guel, Julio Guel, Enedina "Annie" Guel, Joe Guel, Paul Guel, Adolfo Guel and Inocencio Guel. 

A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm with a Rosary recited at 7pm at Schertz Funeral Home, 2217 FM 3009 Schertz, Tx 78154. The Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11:00AM at Schertz Funeral Home with burial to follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Selma - Cemetery #2 at 16075 N. Evans Rd. Selma Tx, 78154.
