Paul Mccartney

Paul V. McCartney, born on August 20, 1956, passed away on January 23,2021, at the age of 64. Paul was born in Midland, Texas, and resided most of his life in San Antonio/Selma, Texas. He had a tough, but short, battle with Covid pneumonia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Hazel McCartney, and his sister Karen English. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Beard McCartney; children, Ryan McCartney and wife Ann, Briana McCartney Pinder and husband Patrick; grandchildren, Colt, Brooke and Wyatt; siblings, Randy McCartney and wife Gerri, Valorie Franken, Melina LaRue, Kevin McCartney and wife Wanda; numerous nieces and nephews, and his loyal dog, Boudro.

Paul is being cremated with no immediate memorial plans due to the dangerous Covid situation. When the time is safe to get together, we will plan on a gathering.

We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Northeast Baptist Hospital’s Primary ICU Covid Units for their hard work and compassion in their care for Paul. Their dedication to all their patients is truly appreciated.
