Patrick Bailey

Patrick Neil Bailey of Ennis, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born on March 12, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio to his parents Neil Owen Bailey and Betty Louise (Fox) Bailey.

Patrick had a love of golf and football – especially high school and college football. His friends and family would describe him as a strong, courageous, generous, and a loving man.  He was a man who put others first, and who wasn't afraid to stand up for others and to do the right thing no matter the cost.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Juanita Bailey, his son; Martin Hernandez, his parents; Neil and Betty Bailey, and his brother; Michael Bailey.

He is survived by his children; Patricia Bailey, Angela Adams (Greg), Gina Hernandez, and Roger Hernandez, his brother; Curtis Bailey (Paula), his grandchildren; Elizabeth Bailey, Neil Bailey, Lee Paninski (Skylar), Clay Adams, Brittney Cabreros, Erik Hernandez, Yzabel Hernandez, and Adam Hernandez, his great-grandchildren; Ava Bailey, Rebecca Montgomery, Maddox Montgomery, Grant Paninski, and Leo Paninski, and his nieces and nephew; Katherine Gabriel, Kevin Bailey (Elaine), and Cara Bailey.

Patrick set an outstanding example of how to live a happy life within your means and no matter the challenges you might face.  He left an incredible legacy of life for all who knew him.

The Funeral for Patrick will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM, with a Visitation for the public beginning at 9:00 AM. There will be a funeral procession following the funeral service to Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
