Orval Bennett

July 21, 1915 — March 15, 2008

MSgt. Orval Bennett, Retired US Air Force, was born on July 21, 1915 in Saltillo, Texas and passed away on March 15, 2008 at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Anne M. Bennett of Schertz; daughters, Nelly Jones and husband Harold of Schertz, and Charlotte Belyeu of Richardson; son, Harry Bennett and wife Carol of Schertz; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 5-9 pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, 2008 beginning at 1:00 pm, with interment to follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Good Shepard Catholic Church, Schertz, TX.
