Okey Warden, Jr.

December 5, 1935 — January 22, 2021

Okey Warden Jr, 85 of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. He was born on December 5, 1935 in Wayne, West Virginia to parents, Gertrude and Okey Warden, Sr. During his more than 30 years of service in the Air Force. Okey was awarded multiple honors. More than anything, Okey loved to spend quality time with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Okey was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his loving wife Helen Warden; sons: Greg and his wife Sandy, Scott and his wife Linda, Hector and his wife Sara; daughter: Stephanie; grandchildren: Benjamin, Jonathan, Joshua, Katherine, Alyssa, and James; great- grandchildren: Lee, Jessa, and Scarlett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Schertz Funeral Home.

Graveside Services, with Military Honors, will take place privately at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
