Nolberto T. Briceno, age 82 of Schertz, passed away on February 7, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecilio & Jesusita (Trejo) Briceno; brother, Henry Briceno; sister, Theresa Gonzalez and grandson, Anthony John Flores. He is survived by his children, Hortencia Morales of San Antonio, Cecilio Briceno & wife, Esther of Dallas; Oliva Riley of Box Springs, Texas, Orlando Franco & wife, Geraldine of Carlsbad, NM and Terri Troncoso & husband, Mariano of Marion; sixteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be Recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass will be Celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 12, 2010 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Interment will follow, with military honors, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:45 AM.
