MSgt. Richard Scott Grantham, U.S. Air Force, Retired of Schertz passed away on November 4, 2008 at the age of 74. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Pearl Agnes (Steed) Grantham; brothers, Twain Grantham and Frank Grantham and sisters, Charlene Doherty and Pearl Perkins. Richard is survived by his wife, Minnie Lee Grantham of Schertz; daughters, Michelle Lee Sample and husband, Christopher of Schertz and Terri Lynn Wiatrek and husband, Bruce of Gillett; sister, Alice Cone of Dewey, Arizona and grandchildren, Bailey Anne Wiatrek, Katie Elizabeth Wiatrek and Amy Justine Sample. Graveside Services, with full military honors, will be held at 10:45 AM, Monday, November 10, 2008 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Fort Sam Houston, Texas with Reverend Neil Kibbe officiating.
