Melvin Krueger

Melvin Krueger was born on June 7, 1937, to Walter and Leonie Krueger in Converse, Texas and died October 9, 2024. After serving in the Navy, he worked as a welder and then a carpenter for many years until his retirement.

Melvin, was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leonie Krueger; son Eric; step-daughter Sandra; brothers Raymond, Elroy, Walter and sisters Evelyn and Laurie. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Irene; son Richard and daughter-in-law, Beth (Eric's wife). He is also survived by his Step-Children, Patricia, Debra, David and Fawn; numerous step grandchildren; brothers, Edmond (Lema), Johnny (Elieen), Tommy (Pam), Danny and Donny; sister Shirley (Randy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The Visitation will begin at 11am with the Memorial Service starting promptly at 12 noon on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Schertz Funeral Home. A Reception will follow at the American Legion located in Universal City, Texas.
