Maxine West

Maxine Harp West, age 77, known for her kind heart, passed away on October 11, 2008 in Converse, TX. She was born on April 9, 1932 in Fort Worth, TX. Being together with her husband and family was her true passion, and she was the driving force to keep all together with her laughter and love. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother and son. Maxine is survived by her husband, Jerry West; son, Mike West and his wife, Debbie and their daughter, Shalie; daughter-in-law, Patricia West and her children, Stephanie West and Christopher West and his wife Jennifer; her sister, Marion Tieman and her brother Jack Harp and his wife, Betty; and nieces and their families. A visitation will be held at Schertz Funeral Home on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 9-1PM with family calling hour between 12 noon and 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will begin in the Schertz Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM following the visitation. Entombment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Maxines name to the CTRC at 7979 Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78229.
