Mary M. Sittenauer went to be with our Lord on September, 24, 2008 at the age of 76. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Sittenauer, and her 2 brothers Eldon McGary and Edmund McGary. She is survived by her children, Debbie McCullough & husband, Bill, San Antonio, TX, Stephen Sittenauer & wife, Esther, Shreveport, LA, David Sittenauer & wife, Melody, Schertz, TX, Susie Line & husband, Doug, Marion, TX and Chuck Sittenauer & wife, Debbie, Las Vegas, NV; brothers, W.A. McGary & wife, Suzanne, Arlington, TX and Larry McGary & wife, Pat, Cape Coral, FL; 11 grand children; numerous nieces & nephews and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 25 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, followed by a rosary at 7:00 PM. A procession will leave Schertz Funeral Home at 9:15 AM on Friday, September 26, 2008 for a Graveside Service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:45 AM. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Greg Nevlud officiating. Mary was very loved and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
