Mary Sanchez

April 23, 1961 — March 6, 2008

Mary Alice was a daughter, sister, friend, and a special Godmother. She came to us on April 23, 1961 at Camp Pendleton, California, she left us at a local hospital of heart failure on March 6, 2008. She passed as she lived full of life and spirit on the inside, quiet and caring on the outside. Mary Alice graduated from Randolph High School in 1979, the dental school at the Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1984, and Our Lady of the Lake University in 2000,with a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology in 2007. Her spirit lives on in all of us. Mary Alice is survived by her parents, Guadalupe L. Sanchez and his wife Bertha Ann of Schertz; and by one brother, Gus Sanchez of Cedar Park and his wife Dahlia Sepeda-Sanchez. Her brother, Paul Sanchez, preceded her in death. A visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz on Sunday evening from 3-6 PM with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church beginning at 1:00 PM with interment to follow in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in San Antonio.
