Marty Robinson

Amos "Marty" Robinson, 66, of Cibolo, Tx, passed away at Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center on October 11, 2020 after battling lung cancer for the last four years. Marty was born in Hartford, CT on October 31, 1953 to Arnold and Fanny Robinson. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Combat Medic from July 1972 to July 1978, serving in the Vietnam War and also in Korea. After the military Marty became a car salesman and then a Truck Driver. He enjoyed the open road and seeing different parts of the country. He was a skilled musician on the guitar, he enjoyed making music and playing for friends and family. Marty was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and their Military Ministry, The American Legion, and the VFW. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Fanny Robinson; brother, Charles Robinson. Marty is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Joanne Liston-Robinson; daughters, Holly Delgado and wife Irene, Samantha Liston-Robinson, Miranda Liston-Robinson, Jenifer Garcia and husband Ivan and Beverly Faulkner; Stepchildren, Cody Liston-Skelton, Sarah Liston Skelton; grandchildren, Alyssa Layton and husband Andrew, Favian Faulkner, and Ashton Richardson; great-grandchildren, Miles Layton and Vadelle Faulkner; brother, James Robinson.

The graveside will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11:15 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Military honors. - Social distancing and masks are required for service.
